Alice Eunjin: "Spaghetti alla chitarra ...the pizza is amazing, ...the orecchiette with pig tail ragu, ’nduja, and Pecorino Pepato; duck prosciutto; and spaghetti alla chitarra with broccoli rabe and Bianco Sardo."
brian life: I love the pizza, big open space with nice picknick style tables. Summer sitting outside is nice too. Hip spot- literally! ;) my old hood- great aria too.
Eva Drago: Incredible selection of amaro. If you're curious, ask the bartender if you can try a few. Fantastic team - these people really love Italian food and wine, and make you feel right at home.
Sabrina Merchant: Lovely new spot in the hood - bartenders and the manager are super friendly and have a great deal of knowledge about everything they serve!
Lauryn Goldberg: V tiny in here, you have to be okay with being as smooshed as possible. The grilled octopus and all the pastas make it worth it.

David Kaplan: This is one of the best places to buy one of the best-tasting spirits, Sorel. Great whiskey and local (Long Island/North Fork) wines.
estheribrown ✌🏻: The staff here are super friendly and helpful - they're happy to make recommendations and I've never had a miss w/one. Love the $12 and under table and the free wine tastings & classes. Great shop.
Scott Flaherty: I'm no connoisseur (tend to pick wine by the design on the label), but it seems like they keep the cheaper stuff on a table in the middle, and in general have a great selection.

Pizzeria · Mill Basin · 40 tips and reviews
sadtt: When you go to La Villa on Avenue U, sit at the bar for friendly service and free appetizers: gorgeous onion focaccia and rice balls. The pastas: perfect, but the pizzas: excellent. Hello Margherita!
Tanya Collette: Mia famiglia & I always sit in a (big) booth & order our usuals - baked clams, bruschetta & insalata caprese for apps & penne gamberi, calzone for entrees. Delizioso!
PizzaSnobo pizzasnobo.com: The pizza is good but not great. La Villa also serves a full Italian menu. Pleasant place for a meal.

Italian Restaurant · South Slope · 55 tips and reviews
Evie: Some of the best Italian you will have in New York. Start with the beet salad (with arugula, orange and fennel) and get the cavatelli and lasagna. That's what we did and it was amazing.
Katherine Tasheff: eat. drink. be happy.
Luna Putzulu aka "luna matto": Love love love Provini. Off the beaten path, for Park Slope. The Homemade cheesecake will slay you. I've spent too many hours on the patio with too many bottles of wine, but that's okay.

amNewYork: Try one of the many risottos — they're homemade and well-priced. For starters, creative salads abound — we love the one with grilled corn, fire-roasted peppers, avocado, arugula and shaved parmigiano.
kawaiiko: Everything is good here...but service is slow. Be prepared to be here for two hours for dinner.
Kev Skinny: Started off with grilled calamari and the prosciutto fig goat cheese baguettes. Cant go wrong. The game changer though is the Bolognese. Cant think of a time I have had better. Licked the plate.
