Kyle Bunch: Austin's best beer garden...over 100 beers on tap and great artisanal (yeah, I said it) sausages. The lunch special ($8 for a sausage, side and a beer) is one of the best deals in town.
Todd White: Best selection of sausage anywhere. Gray beer list
Pam Rodrigues: Over 140 beers on tap. Don't bother reading the menu, just ask their very knowledgeable serves and they will surprise you with some great picks. Fried chicken sausage was amazing!

Emerson Quevedo: The ribs are their best dish but if you want to find that out on your own try "The Sampler" comes with the brisket, a sausage and 1 rib! - the best BBQ in downtown Austin.
Deborah Au-Yeung: Get the sampler to get a taste o beef ribs, brisket and smoked sausage. The beef ribs are to die for.
Amanda Rose: Brisket and sausage were phenomenal! Creamed corn was great, too. Could've skipped the beef ribs, though.
Nicole P: the creamed corn rocks!! & the japeleno sausage
Dave Floyd: Not fancy, but reliably tasty BBQ served by friendly folks. I always go with the moist brisket and sausage. The creamed corn is my go-to side.
Tony Lopez: Simply awesome barbeque, be it ribs, brisket or sausage. We go whenever we have guests from out of state because it's so Texas and never disappoints.
Jen D.: Got the 3 meat platter: sausage, pulled pork & 2nd cut brisket with homemade bread. Don't get the margarita grande tho- they served it in martini glasses. Food is awesome & view is wonderful!!
Nicole Sommerfeld: Brisket & sausage were delicious! Beans & homemade bread were also really good! I subbed the cole slaw & potato salad for a baked potato, which I would do again. Overall, so good!
Douglas Allen: My favorites: sausage, brisket, turkey, potato salad. The Mexican Martinis are great, and a chocolate shake for the drive home makes a great dessert.
Lee McClinton: I'm a Kansas City barbeque snob, and most Texas barbeque doesn't meet my expectations...except Rudy's. The brisket is flavorful, the turkey is amazing, and the sausage is very tasty.
Billy Myers: Got brisket, turkey and sausage to go. It was great.
Leigh D: Rudy's does have excellent sausage & brisket. I think the sauce is too peppery but you may like it just fine. The cream corn is loaded w/ the heavy cream & butter that will make your heart sing out!

Austin Chronicle: The Kerlins are newbies, but have made a strong showing right off the bat: They use sweet-smelling pecan wood and crank out pork ribs and sausage to die for.
Andrew Alvarez: Fall off the bone pork ribs, beef sausage with great snap and flavor, and moist brisket with tasty bark. No line at noon on a Friday. Will have to come in morning for kolaches next time.
Cameron Gidari: The pork ribs and sausage are unreal. Pass on the coleslaw, it's made with cheese and too heavy for a hot summer day.
