Delicious American food staples , fun retro atmosphere and really inexpensive. Charming retro vibes - jukebox and shuffleboard really drive it home . One of my Austin faves and I was born here .

The Bingo they have here reminds me of a game we used to play in Tanzania. Only instead of a chicken we had a rhinoceros, and instead of a grid of numbers we would run for our lives.

The Broken Spoke is Texas' most definitive dance hall. If you're ever in Austin, stop by for some traditional country music by some "real" country musicians.
Giada heads to this hot spot for real Texas food, live music and a dance floor. She ordered the classic Chicken Fried Steak and a Lonestar beer on tap.
If you're feeling adventurous and they have the Live Oak Grodziske, give it a try. Very smoky, Polish-style beer.
