The views were fantastic, even from the balcony. I loved that there were seats as well as general admission, but those seats were quite packed together. A larger patron would be quite uncomfortable.

Get to the theatre early for your show - Skip the valet and park near the exit at the closest parking garage. When you get inside get a cocktail and enjoy it on the balcony watching the sunset :)

The price is worth the stay. The bar is beautiful, a great continental breakfast and DELICIOUS cookies. The balcony has a BEAUTIFUL view of the capitol. Take advantage of the free shuttle!

What a beautiful venue with fantastic performances. The acoustic there is phenomenal. It's cozy and comfortable.
The Long Center is home to Austin’s premier performance art groups, including the Austin Symphony Orchestra, Austin Lyric Opera and Ballet Austin. See touring acts here as well.
The grande dame of Austin theatres is old, ornate, and awesome. Sit in the balcony for a better view of the ceiling mural, and don't forget a sweater – they like to crank the A/C.

Quite fun outdoor music venue... stage with huge lighting setup and loud sound system, bars are inside off to the side + plus balcony with standing area, overlooking the stage/dance pit

This Mexican restaurant has a great balcony upstairs, perfect for catching some sun while relaxing and watching 6th Street activity. Guacamole made table side, don't skip it!
Table side guac is the bomb. Also had some extraordinary ceviche. If possible, sit on the balcony.

Awesome place. Great food. The pulled pork sandwich is delicious. In addition to the restaurant, they also host live bands. The have both an indoor small venue and a larger outdoor venue.
Nice free breakfast. Sit outside on the balcony while you eat!
Great location and close to some good restaurants, within walking distance. Not to mention the bars and live music on 6th. Nice rooms and very good service.
