Right next to Waterside, Town Point Park hosts many events and outside concerts. Right on the waterway, you can let your hair down.
If u have kids always bring a swimsuit or a change of clothes. The fountain is a big hit.

Some of the best crab cakes in Tidewater. The crab nachos are a must try. Good burgers & friendly service make this a nice choice for lunch or dinner. Oh yes all you can eat wings on Tuesdays.

Went and saw Wicked a few months back. Was awesome! Didn't know you had to dress "fancy" though, felt a little out of place. Also balcony sucked, people in front of us got up and down FIVE times!
Phantom of The Opera was pretty amazing seeing as how the stage is pretty small.

I have always found this little pier to be quaint and kitchy — quiet and easy to get to for sure! Try the restaurant; it is pretty good fare.

Friendly staff, diverse clientele. Sundays are a mad house, though, so get there early because it WILL reach capacity and you'll have to wait in line to get in.
