Untapped Cities: On notorious Doyers Street, nicknamed “The Bloody Angle,” you can still visit one of the tunnels which enabled some gang escapes. Enter near Apotheke, and you'll exit at Confucius Plaza.
Jeremy Wilcox: Update (2014): Many of the tunnel entrances are better locked, to ward off tourists. Best spot to enter now is in the building across from Chatham Square when security guy is away.

Christoff Frazier: Grand Central oyster bar has great chowder. Also, if you enter the tunnel on 58th and Lex you can get a $5 scotch and either drink it on the metro north or enjoy it in the tunnel.

Ruben Guerrero: Saturday night bridge and tunnel crowd meets two star hotel NYC tourists. No worries, urkel the promoter keeps the crowd in check...even when there's no line.
Sarah P: If you're from Manhattan this spot is NOT for you. Good view but Over priced mediocre food all in tiny portions. Drinks are tiny and pricey even for Manhattan. Crowd is bridge and tunnel and or tacky.

DJ Times: Tunnel was a nightclub opened in December 1986 at the cost of $5 million by Eli Dayan – the founder of Bonjour Jeans – in a space which was formerly a railroad freight terminal.
DJ Times: Tunnel closed its doors late in 2001, due to non-payment of rent and New York mayor Rudy Giuliani's quality-of-life campaign.
Adrian Phillips: An excellent space for events and parties. Came here for Wanted Design 2016. The room featured tons of independent designers and three bars. Got a little crowded but enjoyed the space immensely.
Nick Ace: Lyz Olko and the team run a tight ship. Great mix of locals vs. bridge and tunnels. Wednesday night DJs keep it live and unexpected. Rooftop is magical from Spring through Fall.

City of New York: In Men in Black (1997), the entrance to Headquarters is actually Brooklyn-Battery Tunnel Ventilator Building, just north of Battery Park.
Elijah Millington: I honestly believe that Battery Park is the best park of New York besides Central Park. It's super fun, spacious, calming, and holds many exciting shows and museums! Go visit in spring/summer!
HISTORY: The park gets its name from the series of artillery batteries built along the area’s waterfront for protection, starting in the later part of the 17th century.
