John L: Excellently done steaks. Skip the famous mutton chop if you haven't the appetite of a horse, and order creamed spinach. Don't be afraid to spend here, it's worth every cent.
Lisa: When in doubt or just wanting a 'snack' I highly recommend the Steak Salad. Flavorful, Med - well skirt steak & the salad was butter lettuce that I could have eaten more of. Delish!!
Valeria Vacchelli: Amazing steakhouse! Price is high but food and drinks are worth it all...Porterhouse for two is for three people and must try hash brown potatos.

New York Habitat: There's some stiff competition for best steak in NYC and Strip House is near the top. Get the Porterhouse cooked as you prefer (we prefer medium rare) and a side of the goose fat potatoes.
Halstead Property: Each steak is made to your request with some of the juiciest and tastiest roasted garlic house steak sauce. The side dishes, especially the steamed broccoli, are divine and big so prepare to share.
Kris Concepcion: The bone-in ribeye is worth every penny. Love the mushroom side as well.
Halstead Property: The Old New-York restaurant vibe makes the steaks even more delicious; however, you must order the Sizzling Canadian Bacon which is cut especially thick and served perfectly crispy.
Anna Khutoryan: Steak, oyster , potato and everything taste so delicious definitely come back
Derek Eid: The porterhouse steak for two or more was just amazing , never had a steak as tender and tasty as Wolfgang's , highly recommend

amoolia: Steak Au Poivre.. I mean like as if you had to ask. The steak tartare app is also amazing. Upside down apple cake is seasonal and served hot in a skillet with a side of icecream :)
Rafi Syed: Steak frites are amazing, esp. with house pepper sauce. If they have potatoes aligote, go for them. Corn soup is unique & refreshing. Read this in a French accent, and don't pay the fortune teller.
Jon Wallett: If you're looking for old school French bistro action this is your spot. Go for the pate, the octopus salad and the steak & frites.. probably one of the best in the city. Tarot reader is added bonus!

JY GB: If you're in NYC, you have to eat here. Great steak, special atmosphere. The steak tartare is probably the best in the world! They don't do walk-ins.
Paula Buzzo: The best steak tartare in town. Their Salmon with tabbouleh and pomegranate is a good option as well. Service is good but a little bit slow.
Ra Scorpio: Service was Amazing! Steak frites, cheeseburger, lobster risotto and beet salad were unbelievably delicious.

Nick Andlinger: The ribeye was 🔥🔥 awesome. Totally not traditional since its marinated beforehand. Nice sear and great flavor. Can't wait to go back for the share dishes.

The Corcoran Group: A gorgeously decorated steakhouse (very warm and traditional) serving perhaps the best porterhouse in NYC – get the potatoes and creamed spinach. Finish with the apple strudel.
Halstead Property: A classic, succulent filet mignon with a side of creamed spinach is just the right combination of meat and greens to leave us satisfied and ready for a second visit at this cozy Midtown steakhouse.
Ally Tropsa: Severely underrated! Best steak in nyc!

Diane Alvarez: OMG.... The Delmonico Rib eye melts in your mouth...the asparagus is to die for...for starters the shellfish chateau is not to be missed
Lori Luo: This old-school steakhouse still serves up some excellent dishes; you'll find a stellar filet mignon as well as the Baked Alaska, which was invented at Delmonico's.
Mike Friedlich: Delmonico Steak is the best steak in NYC hands down, and the whipped potatoes are the best mashed potatoes I have ever had. This place is a must.
Steven Goldbach: Love having steak here. Great porterhouse and great sides. Get the bacon app. (4 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more.
Karl With A "K": The steak is to die for and those mashed potatoes are really yummy. Wasn't crazy about the creamed spinach though. Great wine selection and friendly, attentive wait staff.
Michael Muse: Dont miss the bacon. My favorite steak spot - nearly as good as Luger's with WAY less hassle. This location always has space - which means you never have an excuse not to go.

Halley Robinson: A lot noisier & more of a business crowd than their spot in the Village, but the food was great (as always). Make sure to get the creamed corn side dish w/ your steak! Jade, our server, was great!
Angelica Young: My date ordered the strip medium-rare, but it came out as medium. They were very accommodating by having the new one brought out promptly and gave us complimentary truffle shavings on our steaks
Tarnima Sabed: excellent 20 oz bone in rib eye, cooked to perfection & beautifully complemented by black truffle creamed spinach... steakhouses are tough, but this one is truly satisfying
