The "Hottest" teriyaki sauce nearly put me in the hospital. Considering I'm Korean and have incredible tolerance to spicy food, consider the sauce lethal for most mammals.

Probably most authentic Vietnamese I've had in NYC since visiting Vietnam. Classic Beef Phö, spicy brisket banh mi & lemongrass chicken =delicious. You NYU brats are nuts: the waitresses are wonderful

This hip, London transplant is just what Midtown needs. The cocktails, service, and food are all on point - come for specifically the beef tataki, prawn & black cod dumplings, and the miso chicken.

My favorite vegetarian dish is #16 Tsel Gyathuk Ngopa, which is sauteed noodles mixed with fresh green vegetables and tofu. Make sure you add the chili sauce that you get on the side.

If you're a fan of the savory, try the Bocha Himalayan tea. It's basically a salty bitch slap.
$20 special before 6:30 includes a great salad, miso soup, a ton of tempura, grilled fish, tuna roll + 1 each salmon/yellowtail/tuna sushi (or 3 each sashimi and rice), and fresh fruit plate. HELLO.

Get the Afternoon Plate. Amazing food, very reasonably priced. I would say it's the best "teishoku" (定食) I've had outside of Japan.
