Mostly sand park so come prepared. .best in the summer time around 75°+ or better has a mini river path in the middle of the park

Great family oriented place to visit with subtle nods to the history of the Domino Sugar Company. Great views of the East River and Manhattan.
The playground is “divided” into 2 areas - one for ages 2-5 & the other for ages 5-12. The green play area is for the younger kids & the house & blue play area are for the older kids.
Look for the cormorants (there are two) who dive for fish at the pond here.

The best playground for toddlers in Central Park. Despite the chaos it's quite relaxing, perhaps thanks to the diffused light provided by the tall London Plane trees.
Keep pushing the button on the sprinkle tubes and eventually it will really spray!
