Foodspotting: It’s not on the menu, but if you’re in the mood for some comforting, rich italian pasta, ask for the spaghetti (or penne) carbonara! - Jeremy
Erica Choi: Not the biggest fan of pasta, but at Pepe Rosso, I can eat anything. One of the best Italian places in the city, really tiny, but worth it. Recommend the Penne Vodka and Pappardelle w/ Sausages & Spic
Chitra Agrawal: Lived down the block from this place for 3 years and became addicted to their penne spinach ricotta, also love their chili oil which is kind of hidden near the water.

Laryssa Loza: Food is delicious! I love the mushroom/truffle soup and the penne tortufo! Yumm
Linda Carrion: Mushroom truffle penne so flavorful and delicious. Steak tar tar great appitizer but the samosas looked better. Avoid the chocolate pot for dessert; subpar.
Manuela Marques: It's a amazing restaurant! Excellent food and good service. I ate a Fig & Olive Salad and a Penne Funghi Tartufo, that one was so delicious!
FreezeCrowd: The penne pasta is great, and you can expect a big family sized portion. The restaurant is nicely decorated with plenty of pictures. A fun filled atmosphere.
Karen McAllister: My family loved Carmine's! I would highly recommend the Calamari as an appetizer and Penne Vodka, both were delicious.
Kiwi_bird: We ordered only Veal Parmigiana and Penne Alla Vodka pasta for five very hungry people. And that was too much! Delicious! Deserts are huge too! Very good restaurant!

Sarah Spagnolo: Amazing pesto artichoke penne. Great prices, too. And the burratta!
Zach Hamed: Penne Pesto, Calamari, Orechiette, Rigatoni Gamberi paired with Nero D'Avola. Great spot for date night and a quiet candlelit dinner.
Carolina Lentijo: The octopus was well made, very nice artichoke pesto penne and amazing truffle Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese can get overweening so share! The food actually made up for the very rude service.

al h: Oh my gosh. Counting my lucky stars to be here! What a scene... Amazing seafood salad and penne arrabiata hmmm. Pork chops looked very succulent but I don't eat meat :)
The Corcoran Group: Start with a perfectly prepared Manhattan and follow it up with Mozzarella in Carozza, a Stuffed Veal Chop and Rao’s Meatballs.
Karen R: Pasta - penne served with ricotta and pomodoro and topped with cubed mozzarella. The complimentary bread is also delicious with olive oil. The scenery is romantic and low light.
Chiara Caremoli: Everything!! I had the penne alla vodka which were amazing, my friend had the bolognese (they even have gluten free pasta) and that was amazing too, the minestrone and pomodoro were so great too!
Lior Yanay: This restaurant is an amazing hidden gem. Located on 77th street, just in the center, which gives it a neighborhood feeling. The food is delicious, especially the homemade pastas. Will return for sure

Rachel Conforti: Gluten free penne!
Beril Esen: Breasole, la Caprese & Calamari: the perfect appetizer combo! Rigatoni Pulcinella & Penne Vodka were al dente but flavorful. Salmon alla Griglia was amazing; Pollo Limone was overpowered by the lemon.
Bruce Haydon: Penne Vodka is served al dente, but was amazing. Wine list carries extensive array of Italian vintages, and appears well-curated. Can get hot during summer since pizza oven is close to dining area.
