Avneesh Kohli: Fantastic LA-style Mexican food, among the best in the city. Try the verde chicken enchiladas and check out all the Lakers/Dodgers memorabilia on the walls!
RC: Be adventurous and try some meat you haven't tried. They do tacos really well!
Holly Stair: Taqueria is the absolute best. Low key, chill vibes and the absolute sweetest staff. Carnitas anything is out of this world. Go for the lamb taco and tortilla soup while you're at it.
nathan archambault: Excellent cocktail list and Jonathan Swift memorabilia.
Ryan Ambs: Underrated bar hidden in plane sight. It's on a weird strip between NYU and East Village but worth dropping in if you're in the area. Top notch beer selection and good vibes. Seats in the back too.
Esquire: Congratulations, you've found one of Esquire's Best Bars in America. Have a pint of Guinness and a shot of Paddy's at this church-like watering hole. Also, check out the oyster special on Tuesdays. Read more.
Village Voice: Decked out in 1960's memorabilia, with a nod to all things Elvis, you can't go wrong with and oozy-melted grilled cheese sandwich on white toast, plus it comes with (best potato ever) tater tots!
Evi: The place not to be missed including a trailer, many lights, memorabilia from another era AND some great American food
The Corcoran Group: Over the top kitschy tiki-bar serving great burgers, philly steak sandwiches and tater tots. The margaritas are killer and come in pitchers.

Ricky Sherrill: Everthing here is top notch. Starting at the bar where they have a nice selection of bourbons. At the table you can't go wrong with any of the steaks. I recommend getting a mutton chop for the table.

S: Goodness, the sheer number of books inside is intoxicating. Go peer at rare books on the top floor; browse the endless shelves; pick up some bargains and pick up The Strand's memorabilia. Awesome.
New York Habitat: The best bookstore in the city. 4 floors with tons and tons of books from best sellers to rare unknowns. Find some gems in the $1 section and carry them home in one of their famous tote bags.
Brian P: Always lively and fun. Great memorabilia on the walls, beers by the fistful, sawdust on the floor and open since 1856! A must see.
