Marc Aafjes: One of the best Japanese restaurants outside of Japan. Ask for any special sushi/sashimi options of the menu -- they may have something very nice. Also the Ohmi beef is amazing (but $) nocheap :))
The Wall Street Journal: With 82 seats, Kappo Masa is a comfortable space that also looks to be making its mark in the field of industrial design. Aside from the decor the food is second to none. Be sure to try the truffles. Read more.

Neil Sanchala: Tried the garganelli, the stracci, the grilled asparagus side, and the squash blossoms appetizer. It was all really good. The stracci especially.
Village Voice: It's hard to go wrong with a toothsome pasta filled with truffled mascarpone, in a silky rich butter sauce, but they do it best here. The cappelletti with a sprinkle of prosciutto is the way to go.
The Corcoran Group: Michael White does it again! This spot isn't nearly as expensive as his other upscale restaurants, but the pasta is exceptional. Must order dishes: the lamb crostini, cappelletti, & any of the gelati.

Ms Helene: Meal of market sides 4 for $15-soy glazed tofu & broccoli, beets with goats cheese and walnuts were best. Sweet potato mash & grilled asparagus with Parmesan only ok.
Paula: A favorite! Cheap and amazing veggies. Pretty much everything on the menu is worth trying. Order a market plate and don't forget dessert! The apple pie and the oreo are sooo yummy.
Anne Hubert: I still maintain this place should be called Eastville
