Kathleen Chiu: Great drinks, better happy hour! Snacks are limited but delicious. Service is abominably slow and sometimes surly. Barback is delightful though!!

Rob Jackson: Unusually cool downtown vibe on the Upper East at The Penrose! Awesome bartenders, unique (and delicious) cocktails. Great interior design. Great with friends or a date.
Brendan Clancy: Another loud filament light bulb filled gastropub employing the failsafe method to young professionals wallets of fried pickles, artisanal drinks, mac and cheese and tiles. Tear for Ship of Fools...
Sarah-Jane Purvis: Oyster slides are pretty gross. Taste of the ocean....not in a good way. Didn't make me horny either.

melissa Hochman: Most underrated brunch spot. You'll easily get a table 12-1. love the $5 champagne or breakfast negroni. Get Scottish eggs, waffle for the table and the kale salad (trust me on the salad)
The Corcoran Group: A popular haunt for British transplants. While there's a great late-night bar scene, the food is not to be missed. We love the grilled cheese here!

Bollare: Great food, well made cocktails, friendly staff, and a relaxed vibe make this NoHo hotspot a go-to. While it can get packed on the weekend, beat the crowds and stop by on a Weds or Thurs night. —Joey

Carl K: Jeremy Lin may be a terrible bartender, but in his defense he probably just can't see you through his trendy false frames.

Brew York: A worthy craft beer option in Midtown with 60 beers on tap from the likes of Radiant Pig, Founders, Ommegang, and Bell's. Even with the great tap list, the amazing food outshines the beer.
