It'll be obvious once you sit down, but razor clams are the star. Simple excellence. Although the pulpo with fennel and grapefruit is what I dream about at night.
Razor Clams is drenched in olive oil & garlic. Pulpo had slight bitter & citrusy flavors from the fennel and grapefruit. Pork Croquetas were a bit dry for my liking & Pan con Tomate is boring.

Fennel soup was quite good. Beans wasn't bad tho the tofu was bland.
Loved these dishes: fried Broccoli, mushroom mousse, tomato tart, fennel crisp & onion chocolate tart. Skip pickles, pea shoots, Brussels tacos, radish pasta & cucumber semifreddo.
I mean the fennel sausage pizza is decent, the crust is ok (for vegan, but do vegans need special crust?), sunflower Caesar good. Confit tomato pizza sucked. Does not compete with real pizza!
The shiitake "anchovies" pizza was the best we had. The tomato faro fennel "sausage" (pictured) was good as well

Faves: hams and zeppoli, fennel & grapefruit, clam toast, tortellini, pasta in pink clam sauce, duck, and “affogato” decomposed dessert. Perfect martini was perfect. Good vibes, almost over the top.

Grilled octopus salad and burrata are amazing! Service during lunch was slow. We split the swordfish (good) and malfatti (okay). Heard the fennel salad is worth it!
The Amatriciana eggs are to die for. Get the fennel salad too!
Lived. up. to. the. hype! Fennel salad was exceptional. Wagyu burger is a complex experience and ranks in the top 5 elevated NYC patties. Lasagnette is hearty pasta at its best.

They use egg products for their pizza crusts (in case you were wondering). The pizzas are delicious, especially the sausage, sweet pepper and onion (#2 combo)
We had a fabulous lunch here on Labor Day. Great outdoor seating. Their Campari fennel cocktail is awesome and the salads and their bread is fantastic. Also leave room for the chocolate souffle.

Worst service ever period,When We walked in on a Sunday 85F weather at 5:40pm. We were stared down because we had shorts and told We are not dressed accordingly do dine at totally empty restaurant.
The fennel salad and spaghetti alla chitara (not on the menu - from the malatesta menu) are delicious. I will try the pizza next time! More trendy ambiance than malatesta but the wait is much shorter.
Great ambience. Unpretentious place, good for big groups of people. Porcini tartufata and fennel salad were delicious. Cash only but there is an ATM inside.

The Canotto Salato is amazing. A row of cubed pieces of prosciutto lay on top of a bed of mascarpone, gruyere, and sprinkled with some fennel seed. Oh--and the bread is a perfect pillow of goodness.
Savory Canotto w/ brioche dough, gruyere, prosciutto, fennel seed, & mascarpone is my 1st pick of savory items. And for my fave sweet one, I'd take any one of their Canottos Dolce w/ seasonal fruit.

Wow! Everything we tried was great: potato soup, fennel tartine, crispy artichokes, ginger rice and burger!
Ordered the P.S. breakfast. Delicious and just the right size. Perfect scrambled tofu, smoked maple portobello mushrooms and a superb sweet tomato jam. Highly recommended even if you’re not vegan.
