I ordered the chupe de camarones and it was outstanding. I am Peruvian so I was really pleased with the authenticity of the meal. My husband ordered the lomo saltado and the beef was tender and juicy.

Try guac, camarones toloache, carne asada & the mescal cocktails. It's more mellow & smokier than tequila. One drawback: hostess spent 10+ minutes looking for our coats then asked for a tip! Huh?

Easily my favorite restaurant on the UES. Sit at the bar. Get the salsa. Carne Asada dinner is amazing. Love it.
The frutas guacamole is unbelievable. Pair it with the atun ceviche and you'll be drowned in fresh flavor. The short rib tacos are a must but I'd pass on the tilapia. Beware of small portions.
The Quesadilla Camarones has the perfect proportion of Gulf Shrimp and melted, smooth cheese and is accompanied by roasted tomato salsa that adds just the necessary tang to the dish.
Favorite margarita in the city! Strongly recommend their guac, shrimp quesadillas, chicken wings (not on the menu!), and taco tray. Just do it.
Forget about the big meals...simply order the taco tray to share, which will guarantee to be a party in your mouth.
Pro-tip: ask for Caldo de Camarón (shrimp broth), is tradition in Mexico to pair fish tacos with caldo

I came from Chicago and I gotta say there's no better Dominican food then in ny. Mofongo con camarones is off the chain y el chicharron de pollo ta delicioso...
Best mofongo place in NYC. Reasonable prices. Mofongo de chicharron and fried chicken are top notch! It can get pretty crowded and hectic on weekends. Make early trips unless you like the wait game.
The chicken stuffed with cheese and jam with mushroom sauce is amazing!
