I enjoy biking on the bike path along the Henry Hudson River from Harlem to Battery Park! The sights along the way will make you fall in love again with NYC!
Ferry service would benefit here , it's anyone's guess when that will happen. Stroll along here to make you forget the rent your paying to live near. Great for impromptu picnics. Watch the bike path!

Great Bike Trail. You can actually ride down to Battery Park and make the turn to the East River Drive Bike Trail / Greenway and continue up to 34th Street with both Rivers in view.

Rollerbladers challenge
If slow cyclists and rollerbladers would just stay to the right so other bikers could follow the rules and pass left and pedestrians would not walk in the bike path but the people we'd all get along

The northern section of this 9.44 mile stretch runs mostly along the FDR, which isn't great for quiet contemplation, but does offer views of the water. Read more.
In the summer they have air cond. Bathroom across the bike path. Clean and cool.
Great burgers on the westside bike path - perfect with a beer and the sunset.
Really great outdoor bar and food by the water. Excellent service and lots of options in the sun or shade. Take a walk on the waterfront when you are done sipping your cocktails.

Amazing views of the city from here! Quickest way to get around the island.
get there EARLY. By mid-late afternoon, impossible to ride a bike bc of strollers, pedestrians, kids who don’t watch where they’re going.
It will be great when all the bike paths are connected from staten island ferry to Dykeman street.
Perfect place for a run or to longboard :)
Creepy as hell at night
This is a misnomer. It is both a pedestrian and a bike path although not a few cyclists seem to be cognizant of the rules on this path.

Infrastructure, monument, muse, obstacle-strewn bike path, treacherous footpath, platform for photographing Brooklyn and Manhattan, wedding venue. At least this is what the bridge has been for me.
Stay off the bike path if youre walking. Bikers will not hesitate to run your ass down.
Good view of the city!!! Very crowded. If on foot, be sure to stay off the bike path, which is half of the promenade. Best food selection on the Manhattan side of the bridge, in the adjacent park.
I am lucky this is my commute route. It's beautiful all year round.

Its bike path, which leads directly to the Brooklyn Bridge, offers a different type of scenic view to cyclists pedaling through picturesque panoramas of some of the City's iconic public architecture.
The view is very pretty, and close to the Brooklin Bridge. Great place to sit down and enjoy, and make some squirrel friends
