Peter Gerard: Well curated cinema with at-seat service. Excellent popcorn with real butter, well-made cocktails, good food. Most screenings sell out, so I recommend booking ahead.
Concert Ticket Agency: Dinner? Movie? or a show? Stop here first, grab some grub, watch a cool indie flick, then see a show at nearby Music Hall of Williamsburg. Beer! Pork Buns! Popcorn! oh my!
Time Out New York: Each theater has paired seats and tables where twosomes can nosh while taking in indie and retro flicks. Split the Nitehawk Queso, with melted cheese, black beans, spicy chorizo and cooling guac. Read more.

Brian Grogan Jr.: Big, modern movie theater with nice seating and a good selection of new mainstream Hollywood releases, and a few indie films too. The popcorn is pretty good too. Good place to go for movie night.
Corinna P: $8 tickets! Just like it's 2002 again! Stadium seating, aggressive bag checks for outside snacks.
Caitlin Strandberg: You'll find me here on Tues/Thurs for the $8 movies. Then at Pies & Thighs for a chicken biscuit and free drink (w ticket stub).

ginnnnnnny 🦀: A hidden gem. Very homey, good Oscar trivias, and good cocktail.
Mairéad Ní Dhubhthaigh: Big screens, cool bar layout, food served as you watch a film
David C: Excellent area, food and events worth watching! To watch an in-house movie, see a bartender/host who generally passes around selling tickets on an iPad!
Brooklyn Exposed: BAM is an excellent venue offering many things. Besides the great performances, watch a great film, enjoy deelish cocktails during Happy hour, heavenly entrees and periodic drink and food events. Read more.
MTV: MTV News: This is where the MTV TJ finale went down. While you're in the area, grab some delicious craft beer and FREE popcorn at the 4th Ave Pub (just down the street).
Flavorpill: Besides the award-winning theatre and dance productions, BAM's also a great place just to see a movie, because usually it's filled with (respectful) film nerds - even new releases.
